Paolo Onesa (born Paolo Giovanni Plaza Onesa, October 10, 1993) is a Filipino recording artist. Onesa is signed under MCA and part of Star Magic. He participated in the first season of The Voice of the Philippines〔(【引用サイトリンク】title= Paolo Onesa )〕 and advanced to the Semi Finals under Bamboo Manalac's team. Onesa received two awards from Awit Awards: Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist and Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist both for the song "Lucky In Love."〔http://manilastandardtoday.com/2015/01/05/paolo-onesa-awit-award-winner/〕 The song is included in Onesa's debut album ''Pop Goes Standards'' and as a bonus track on ''The Voice of the Philippines The Final 4'' album released by MCA Music. == Life and career == Paolo Onesa joined ''The Voice Of The Philippines'' Season 1 with "Yakap Sa Dilim" originally sung by Orange and Lemons as his audition piece and picked Bamboo Mañalac as his coach. His live performance of the song "Skyfall" originally sung by Adele had gone viral and landed on the Top 1 spot in iTunes 24 hours after the performance. After ''The Voice Of The Philippines'', Onesa signed as a Star Magic artist and joined ''ASAP 20'' a Sunday variety show of ABS-CBN. He appears in the segment "ASAP Covers" joining Sam Milby, Nyoy Volante, KZ Tandingan, Gab Valenciano, and Princess. Onesa also appeared in a Mid-Morning Daily Show The Singing Bee as a Regular Performer from September 2014 to February 2015. His debut album was launched in February 23, 2014 including 11 tracks with his single "Lucky in Love" written by Roxanne Seeman. Paolo Onesa's first solo concert "Paolo Onesa Homecoming concert" was held in his Hometown at WMSU Zamboanga City last February 25, 2015.
